IMS Module Launch Date Set

We are very excited about how the content for all of our modules is coming together and are looking forward to teaching them to medical practicioners this spring.  Each module will be presented via a live webinar at 7pm CST on Tuesday evenings.  We have finalized our schedule as follows:

  • March 16, 2010 - Physiology of Carbohydrate Restriction
  • March 23, 2010 - Ketones
  • March 30, 2010 - Clinical Effects of Carbohydrate Restriction
  • April 6, 2010 - Low-carb Diet Research 1: Low-carb and Low-fat Diets
  • April 13, 2010 - Low-carb Diet Research 2: Beyond Weight Loss
  • April 20, 2010 - Clinical Implementation of Carbohydrate Restriction: Getting Started
  • April 27, 2010 - Clinical Implementation of Carbohydrate Restriction: Medical Management
  • May 4, 2010 - Behavioral Tools for Lifestyle Modification
  • May 11, 2010 - Reimbursement Issues
  • May 18, 2010 - Pediatric Obesity Evaluation and Treatment

Again, each module includes:

  • 14 weeks of live web-based instruction from Dr. Vernon and/or Dr. Westman
  • PowerPoint presentations containing extensive research and clinical experience
  • Bibliographies and links to the references for each presentation
  • A question and answer time with Dr. Westman and/or Dr. Vernon following each presentation
  • CME credit
